Danielle Steer is a forward from Surrey, BC who set two all-time USports Canada West Conference records during her time at the University of British Columbia (UBC) from 2017-2022. She recorded 18 goals in a single season and accumulated 85 career points (57 goals and 28 assists in 97 games).

A product of Coastal FC, Danielle made her UBC debut in 2017, where she was named to the Canada West All-Rookie Team. Over the years, she earned multiple accolades, including three-time Canada West First Team All-Star honors and being named a U Sports First Team All-Canadian in 2022. One of the highlights of her university career came when she scored in the final match of the season, helping the Thunderbirds capture their first Canada West title in six years.

After graduating university in 2022, Danielle played with Varsity FC in League1 British Columbia for one year before signing her first professional contract with the Austrralian A-League Women club Western United. She returned to Canada at the conclusion of the season to rejoin her former team until the fall of 2023, where she signed with Fenerbahçe of the Turkish Women’s Football Super League. The next summer, she moved to the Ireland Women’s Premier League to play with Treaty United.
